On July 10, more than 20 IT developers from various leading companies flocked the Telkomtelstra Tech Lab held on Go Work FX Sudirman for a day-long workshop of creating an application on top of Cloud platform. All of the participants treated to hands-on activities that explored the Microsoft Cloud platform, the Azure Stack, which provides users with all the components necessary to build a functioning app in the Hybrid Cloud.
The day started with an opening by Telkomtelstra Solution Architect Senior Specialist on the highlight of Telkomtelstra Azure Stack and best practices in deploying a scalable web application using the technology of containers and orchestration engine that refer as “Docker vs Kubernets”.
After the brief opening, the participants then were introduced with the latest innovation from Microsoft called Microsoft Cognitive Services. During this opportunity, Telkomtelstra also showed the live demonstration of the face recognition application using Microsoft Cognitive Service (Face API) on top of the Azure Stack technology.
The highlight of Telkomtestra Tech Lab was when the participants were challenged to think of their own app ideas and develop them using the Azure Stack guided by Telkomtelstra Cloud Specialist. Participants came with varying coding experience and were equally successful at developing ideas for their new apps.
“The participants amazed us with their innovative ideas. They were having fun and realizing the best way to develop an app for their organizations on top of the cloud,” said Agus F. Abdillah, Telkomtelstra Chief of Product. “Telkomtelstra is proud to partner with Microsoft to bring innovative cloud technology to our participants. The skills developed at today’s tech lab will help these participants as they continue to develop their apps and navigate technology,” Pak Agus continued.
“How to Collaborate on Creating Apps on Top of Azure Stack” is the second series of Telkomtelstra Tech-Lab, that successfully held the first series on July 2019, and will continue with the third series on August 2019.
